Pecorino Toscano PDO
is a round cheese, which has been granted the Protected Designation by the EU.
Its origins date back to the Etruscan civilization (700 BC).

It is a ripened, pure sheep’s milk cheese.

Upon ripening, it develops a compact, straw-coloured paste, with a brown rind.

With age, the cheese starts to crumble and it acquires its identifiable texture and flavour. Its sweetness is perfectly balanced by typical bitter and intense overtones.

Pecorino Toscano PDO is available in 2.8 Kg wheels.
