Our Mozzarella is a white, fresh cheese. It has a soft, moist texture, which is slightly grainy and stringy, since it belongs to the pasta filata family.
It is characterised by a fresh, delicate taste of milk and it can have a slightly lactic taste.
Being a fresh cheese, our Mozzarella is high in water content and therefore low in fat.
Ciresa Mozzarella balls are sold in whey and water solution to help them retain their moisture and shape.
They are available in the following formats: 1 Kg log (filone); packets of 125 g; ciliegine of 10 g each.
